The issue on this appeal is whether the trial court has authority to set aside a bail forfeiture order made by the preliminary examination court. We hold that it does.

On August 23, 1976, the defendant was charged in a criminal complaint with prostitution contrary to sec. 944.30(1) and (2), Stats. She was released on a $500 appearance bond. Two days later she was again charged with two counts of prostitution. She filed a second $500 appearance...
