Plaintiff, master of the vessel S.S. Monarch Sun (now known as the S.S. Volendam) from October 4, 1976 to August 14, 1977, brought suit against the owners of the vessel. The complaint alleges five causes of action in admiralty: (1) a claim for salvage award to plaintiff and (2) the other crew members, (3) a demand for wages accrued because the owners allegedly failed to pay him for overtime and vacation periods worked...
