C. M. Ayers and 120 other former employees of Dulany Foods, Inc., filed their motion for judgment against Dulany, collectively seeking severance benefits. Following a three-day trial, the lower court, sitting without a jury, entered in favor of the plaintiffs 107 separate judgments in varying amounts totaling $138,765.22. Dulany has appealed, alleging that its offer of severance pay was purely gratuitous and was not capable of being accepted so...
