This is a diversity action based on claims in strict liability and negligence, in which action the plaintiff alleges that a machine manufactured by the defendant Atlas Vac Machine Co. and used by her employer caused severe and permanent injury to her left hand. She claims compensatory damages in the amount of $250,000 and punitive damages of $1,000,000. Defendants have moved to strike the claim for punitive damages...
