Plaintiff was a department manager of Richard Abel and Company, a distributor of books and library services, when defendant bank took control of the company's business operations in order to protect its interests as a creditor of the company. He brought the present action for unpaid vacation and severance benefits which defendant allegedly promised to pay. Plaintiff won a jury verdict on this claim.
