Appellant, Billy Jack Stowe, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged, tried and convicted in the District Court, Oklahoma County, Case No. CRF-76-3885, for the offense of Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill, After Former Conviction of a Felony, in violation of 21 O.S. 1971, § 652. His punishment was fixed at a term of seventy-five (75) years' imprisonment...
