This appeal involves the involuntary commitment of Pernell to the New Mexico State Hospital for evaluation and treatment, not to exceed thirty days. Statutory references to the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code are either to N.M.S.A. 1978 or to N.M.S.A. 1978 (Supp. 1978). A variety of contentions are presented. Compare Lynch v.
