This is an appeal from a conviction on two counts of conspiracy to commit arson of a dwelling in Belmont, New Hampshire. Before trial, the defendant's attorney moved to withdraw as court-appointed counsel on the ground that his prior representation of a prosecution witness created a conflict of interest.
