Nu-Tred Tire Company, Inc. (Nu-Tred) was an authorized distributor of tires and tire products for Dunlop Tire and Rubber Corporation (Dunlop). As security for a loan by Dunlop, Nu-Tred gave Dunlop a security interest in the inventory of products supplied by Dunlop.
