BROWN, J.

On May 23, 1973, Joseph Locklear was convicted of theft, contrary to sec. 943.20 (1) (d) and (3) (b), Stats. The court sentenced Locklear to an indeterminate term of imprisonment not to exceed two (2) years. The sentence was stayed and Locklear was placed on two (2) years probation, the first six (6) months of which were to be served under work release pursuant to sec. 973.09 (4), Stats.
