Attorney appearing as counsel for the Government notified defense counsel by letter that: "I have recently learned that the legal fees for Ellis Marlow Haskew, a defendant-witness in the above-captioned case were paid by the Florida Department of Criminal Law Enforcement to Mr. Haskew's attorney, W.
