The widows of four men who died in an explosion brought these actions, individually and as the personal representatives of their husbands' estates, against the Creole Petroleum Corporation ("Creole")1 and the Exxon Corporation ("Exxon")2 to recover damages for their husbands' deaths. Both Creole and Exxon have moved to dismiss the complaints against them for lack of subject matter...
