On August 17, 1976, the defendant was found guilty in the First District Court of Northern Worcester on two complaints, one charging assault and battery and the other charging larceny from a person. She was sentenced to a suspended term of six months in a house of correction on the complaint for assault and battery and a term of three months on the complaint for larceny.
