Roger Lawrence filed a petition for declaratory judgment which as amended on January 19, 1976, sought the declaration of his rights and duties and those of his former employer, defendant Steadley Company, Inc., under their letter agreement dated April 25, 1975 (the letter agreement), which modified the parties' original "Employment Agreement" dated January 1, 1973.
