Appellant, Ricky Malcolm Stoner, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged in the District Court, Cleveland County, Case No. CRF-76-36, with the offense of Robbery With Firearms. The case was tried to a jury and a guilty verdict was returned, with punishment being assessed at fifteen (15) years' imprisonment.
