This action arose as a result of the discharge of plaintiff, Allen B. Wilson, on August 15, 1972, for the alleged theft of a hoist from his employer, Sharon Steel Corporation (Sharon). Wilson opposed his dismissal through recourse to both the grievance arbitration procedure of his labor agreement and EEOC conciliation.
