The challenging question presented by this appeal is whether, under the law as presently declared1 we must remand for a determination of appellant's competency to waive trial and enter a plea of guilty. There are two additional issues presented, which concern appellant's competency at the time of sentencing and the appropriateness of the sentence imposed.
