These actions arose out of the 1975 acquisition by plaintiff Paul Kalmanovitz of a substantial amount of Falstaff Brewing Corporation's stock. Plaintiff has filed antitrust and securities actions against four banks and two insurance companies. Several former officers and directors of Falstaff and the accounting firm of Haskins & Sells are also defendants. Eight separate actions were transferred by the Judicial Panel...
