Defendant, Zelmer Williams, appeals from a conviction of fraudulent sale of securities and sale of unregistered securities. The issue on appeal is whether fractional patent interests and fractional royalty interests in a patent are "securities" within the meaning of The Securities Act of Washington, RCW 21.20. For the reasons stated below, we affirm.
