Respondent has determined a deficiency in petitioners' Federal income tax for the taxable year 1971 in the amount of $10,294.35. Respondent has also determined that petitioners are liable for additions to tax in the amounts of $984.34, pursuant to section 6651(a)(1),1 and $514.72, pursuant to section 6653(a).
