Defendant American Airlines has moved to disqualify the undersigned Judge of this Court on the ground that "his impartiality might reasonably be questioned." 28 U.S.C. § 455(a). The motion is supported by an affidavit which sets forth certain comments of the Court critical of defendant's actions made in the course of a status and settlement conference in these proceedings...
