This action is before the court on plaintiff's motion to remand. The court has received elaborate briefs and entertained oral argument on the legal issues involved.

The record reflects that on November 13, 1975, as a result of fire and explosion aboard defendant's tanker, Barge B-924, the husband of plaintiff-executrix, Rex G. Buckley, suffered injuries which resulted in his death. The tanker...
