This is an action brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 by four anonymous inmates at M.C.I. Walpole arising out of their transfer from the general population cell blocks to segregated cells within that facility.1 They allege that the transfer violated rights guaranteed to them by the Due Process Clause, the Equal Protection Clause and the constitutional prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment...
