OPINION

KELLEHER, Justice.

David C. and Helen A. Berg were divorced by way of a final decree entered in the Family Court in August of 1969. Helen received custody of the couple's two minor children and possession of the marital domicile located in East Greenwich. David was ordered to make monthly alimony and support payments as well as assume certain financial obligations relating to the maintenance of this house.
