I. History

On June 7, 1971, Mrs. Nancy Feldman died in the crash of an Allegheny Airlines plane at New Haven, Connecticut. Her husband, as administrator of her estate, brought suit against the airline under the Connecticut wrongful death statute, Conn. Gen.Stat.Ann. § 52-555 (1976 Supp.).
