The question presented by this case is whether the defendant's policy against hiring in the same capacity the spouse of an hourly employee at its Ottawa, Illinois, plant constitutes sex discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. We hold that the plaintiffs have made out a prima facie case of a violation, but that there is a disputed issue...
