George L. Jones was indicted by the grand jury for the Parish of Orleans with first degree murder in violation of La.R.S. 14:30. After trial by jury, defendant was found guilty of second degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
