MOWBRAY, Justice:

A jury found the appellant, George L. Allan, guilty of the infamous crime against nature committed upon the person of one under the age of 18 years. In accordance with the mandatory sentencing provision of NRS 201.190, subsection 1(a),1 Allan was sentenced to life imprisonment in the state penitentiary with possibility of parole.
