This suit was originally filed in the circuit court of Lake County, Illinois by the assignee of a fire insurance policy to recover for an alleged breach of the insurance contract. On defendant's motion alleging diversity of citizenship, the cause was removed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1441(b) and federal jurisdiction invoked under 28 U.S.C. § 1332(a)(1).
