PESQUERA, District Judge.

Petitioner in the present action was convicted for a violation of Section 5-201 of the Vehicle and Traffic Act, 9 LPRA 871 (reckless driving) and sentenced to pay a fine of $400 or undergo imprisonment for ninety days. At the arraignment petitioner pleaded not guilty and requested trial by jury, which was denied by the presiding judge.
