This is a Florida diversity personal injury case brought by Paris Hale and his wife Catherine (citizens of Ohio) against Holy Cross Hospital, Inc. (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), Dr. Peter R. Sciarretta, two nurses employed by the hospital, and the manufacturer of a therapeutic heating device known as an Aquamatic K-Pad. Plaintiffs sought damages on behalf of Paris Hale for injuries...
