The plaintiffs, purporting to represent a class of land purchasers, brought suit against the defendants alleging commonlaw fraud and violations of the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1701 et seq. The defendants were officers and members of the board of directors of Timberlake, Inc. or Heidler Corporation, the parent corporation.
