Defendant, Dewey Shuey, was convicted of robbery armed, MCLA 750.529; MSA 28.797, before a jury and sentenced by the trial court to a term of from 15 to 30 years in prison. Defendant appeals as of right.

On June 28, 1971, at approximately 12:45 a.m. a food market in Niles, Michigan, was robbed. Daniel Becker, the night manager of the store, and his fiance, Sandy Thompson, had just closed up the store when a young black male approached them...
