This is a dispute over the ownership of a sixty acre tract of land located in Cherokee County, Texas. The land was sold at an execution sale on August 1, 1967. The Defendant in the case, Edwin Brown, purchased the land at that sale for $100.00. The Plaintiff, Exa P. Ross, has brought this action asking that the Court exercise its equity powers to set the sale aside and restore title to the land in the Plaintiff...
