This case concerns the interpretation of MCLA 418.827; MSA 17.237(827), of the Michigan Workmen's Compensation Act. Defendant Ford Motor Company appeals the order of the Wayne County Circuit Court that invalidated Ford's statutory lien on the $20,000 settlement of plaintiff Charles Osment's malpractice suit against defendant Dr. Charnley.
