HARRISON, Justice.

Horace C. Rowe, Jr. was convicted by a jury of committing perjury, and his punishment was fixed at a term of four years in the penitentiary.

On July 2, 1974, Rowe had been convicted in the court below of statutory burglary (breaking and entering the Shenandoah Valley Livestock Sales Building in Rockingham County) and was sentenced to serve six months in jail.
