On July 26, 1972, John J. Glass was involved in an automobile accident while operating his motor vehicle in Plum Borough, Allegheny County. Subsequent to the accident a police officer arrived at the scene and, after ascertaining that Glass who was standing nearby had been the driver of the vehicle, placed him under arrest for driving while under the influence of alcohol...
