Appellant was convicted of carrying a pistol without a license (after a previous felony conviction) in violation of D.C.Code 1973, § 22-3204. On appeal, he contends that the trial court erred in denying his pretrial motion to suppress evidence — i. e., a pistol — on alternative grounds: (1) that the discovery of the pistol was the result of an unreasonable search and (2) that the arrest which led to this discovery was...
