HATHAWAY, Chief Judge.

Plaintiff William A. Gowland (hereinafter referred to as "Bill") has appealed from an award of the custody of his son to the latter's maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin.

Bill married Joyce Dawn Martin (hereinafter "Joyce") in 1968 when both were 14 years old. Both Bill's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gowland and Joyce's parents, appellees Mr. and Mrs. Martin, consented to the marriage. Soon thereafter a child, Troy Vincent...
