The appellant, Etha Marie Foley, was charged with and convicted of first degree murder.1 Upon a jury verdict of guilty, she was sentenced to life imprisonment. The appellant admits having shot her husband on August 2, 1970, but she contends that the evidence presented at trial is insufficient to sustain a conviction of any crime greater than voluntary manslaughter.
