Petitioner, James Murray Carrington, having exhausted his state remedies, seeks relief from this court by way of writ of habeas corpus. Petitioner, who is black, is incarcerated as a result of two jury convictions in the Circuit Court of Appomatox County, one on December 8, 1970 for rape, and the other on May 17, 1971 for abduction...
