The defendant, Gilbert Victor Hostler, pled guilty to a charge of first degree murder and on March 10, 1971, was sentenced to life imprisonment. Hostler now comes before this court and alleges, in substance, that the trial court erred in accepting his guilty plea which was, he asserts, not voluntarily and intelligently made since he was denied his right to a psychiatric examination under A.R.S. § 13-1621.01, subsec.
