Plaintiffs in this matter seek damages allegedly sustained by them as a result of an incident aboard the SS LETITIA LYKES while that ship was in the port of Singapore in January, 1971. Jurisdiction is based upon the general maritime law and the provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 1981.
