In contest on this appeal is the ownership as pledgee of a described mortgage note executed and signed by the late Thomas A. Bridges. The contestants now before the court are Mrs. Alice Bell McCrary, administratrix of the estate and succession of the original plaintiff, the late J. Hoyte McCrary, and the Farmers State Bank of Center, Texas. Each claims to be the owner as pledgee of the note allegedly pledged to secure loans made to Bridges.
