In this action, brought under § 301 of the Labor-Management Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. § 185,1 a jury found a breach by the defendant, District 5, United Mine Workers of America, of a contract between the plaintiff, Peggs Run Coal Company, Inc., and the United Mine Workers of America, and awarded the plaintiff $11,873.79 in damages.
