Petitioner-employer, appellant herein, operates a paper mill in Oregon City, Oregon. Claimant was employed by petitioner in its mill from June 10, 1946, until September 1, 1971. The entire period of employment was in the Ground Wood Department working on wood grinders, or as they are now called, refiners. Claimant reached age 65 on August 31, 1971, and his employment was terminated the following day pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement entered...
