In this automobile negligence case, plaintiffs recovered a verdict in the amount of $12,500, and defendant Cab Company sought judgment notwithstanding the verdict or a new trial, both of which were denied. On appeal, the Court of Appeals reversed and remanded for a new trial on the ground that the trial judge had improperly restricted defendant's cross-examination of plaintiff.
