Defendant, a practicing attorney of many years residing at Eveleth, Minnesota, was indicted September 23, 1970. He was charged with misdemeanors in five counts i.e., failure to file Interest Equalization Tax Returns covering various periods and certain transactions, in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7203.
