Jenkins filed a petition for habeas corpus alleging a number of grounds for relief. One of the grounds, that there was insufficient evidence to support the conviction, was raised on direct appeal to the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. The district court dismissed this claim on the merits. A review of the trial transcript convinces us that the district court was clearly correct in determining that the record is not "so totally devoid of evidentiary support...
