This appeal from a jury award of $6,000 in a negligence case challenges the District Court's grant of a motion for judgment non obstante veredicto and, alternatively, for a new trial because of the insufficiency of the evidence to support the jury finding of liability. The record suggests that the trial court was disposed to grant appellee's request for a directed verdict at the close of the evidence but deferred to repeated admonitions...
